  • Hit high-speeds, spin around daring turns, and drop into darkness on the exciting rides at Splashdown Poole.
  • Watch your youngest play in kid-friendly spaces just for them.
  • Have a bite to eat or a sunbathe if you want to relax.

If you’ve visited sister park Splashdown Quaywest before, or had a rip-roaring time at Sandcastle Waterpark in Blackpool, put Dorset's Splashdown Poole on your list!

Splashdown Poole has six high-intensity, adrenaline-fuelled slides. Two of these are seasonal rides, namely The Screamer and Velocity. The Screamer drops you through 40 metres of slide in under five seconds; hold onto your heart or it might come out! Velocity shoots you like a bullet down a 30-foot steep drop. Baron’s Revenge might just take your breath away as you take an eight-metre, near-vertical drop in total darkness. Zambezi Drop takes you to speeds of 25mph through 50 metres of slide and a steep drop, so is great for those with a need for speed. Escape the dragon in Dragon’s Lair as you twist and turn in the dim gloom. Meanwhile, Infinity takes you on a musical wave as you spin and drop around a bowl before plunging into a pool.

Looking for something a little less intense? There are four medium rides, and two easy rides to enjoy. Inflatable tyre ride Mississippi Drifter will take you through tumbles, twists and whirlpools. Enjoy the seasonal extension of the Grand Canyon, as you are sucked into a pitch black twisting flume that’ll leave you on the edge of your seat. Feel like a race? Try the Tennessee Twister & Louisiana Leap, as you go through 91 metres of twists and turns; if you think you’ve won, try the other and see who’s victorious. The Colorado Coaster might feel relaxing to start, but slip and slide around at fast speeds before you reach the final drop. Step into a thunderstorm on Black Thunder, experiencing heart thumping twists and turns throughout the pitch-black spiral. Looking for something to start you off on your water ride fun? The Red River Roller will help introduce you to flumes as you go through 91 metres of slow-flowing twists.

Want something for your youngest too? Buccaneer Splash and Buccaneer Beach are perfect for younger kids. With water cannons, a starter flume, and an outdoor splash pool, there’s plenty of fun to be had. Why not try out Ricky’s Reef for under-7s? Explore underwater with this 3D effect reef liner.

If you're looking for space to relax after all of the water slide fun, sun terraces are available while the kids enjoy themselves. The Splash Cafe is available with hot and cold drinks, light bites and snacks if you're feeling a bit peckish; it’s recommended you book a meal deal online before you arrive. There is also a limited range of swimming costumes, towels, armbands and swim nappies to buy at the waterpark if you’ve forgotten anything.

Whether you're looking for thrills and adrenaline, or would rather relax in the sun, there’s plenty to do at Splashdown Poole.

Splashdown are the owners of two waterparks in the UK - Splashdown Quaywest, in Devon, and Splashdown Poole, in Dorset. They have a variety of rides for all of the family at both parks.

Splashdown Quaywest has eight water slides, small splash pools for youngsters and a swimming pool. These rides include black holes, mat rides and tyre rides. Three are considered severe with their fast-paced nature: The Screamer, Devil’s Drop, and Wild Kamikaze. There are also two attractions for younger children, a swimming pool, an arcade, and a shop.

Splashdown Poole has eight indoor water slides which operate all year round and five outside rides which operate only during the summer. Six of the rides are considered severe, including two seasonal rides; with names like Velocity and Baron’s Revenge, you can hear why. Three of the rides are for younger children. There are light effects included in some of the rides. It also has a café and sun terraces.

A Splashdown waterpark is guaranteed to be a hit with the kids!
