Coram's Fields

Please be aware of government guidelines before setting off.

Government Guidelines
  • Coram's Fields is a kids-only park, full of exciting play areas, sandpits, pets corner, and so much much more.
  • Don't miss out on the nursery service, youth service and under 5's drop-in that Coram's Fields provides.
  • Boasting free sports pitches, youth clubs and seven-acres of land to run around in.
  • With a café on site too, this is a certified day of fun for the kids, with plenty to do.

Coram's Fields, a large urban space in Camden, is a fantastic place for a family day out bursting with fun! There's so much to do here that it surpasses the label of a park or even fields, with a children's play area, Coram's Fields football, a children's farm and more.

You can have an action-packed day here; there is a large adventure play area including a zip wire for the daredevils, a witch's hat swing and one of the largest slides in London town! There is also a sensory and music area for younger kids who want something more immersive and interactive, opened in association with Great Ormond Street Hospital. There is a wheelchair-friendly play area, too, making this an accessible site for all.

After releasing enjoying the kids playground areas, why not pretend you're at the beach and build some sandcastles in the sandpit! After that, you can take a stroll to the city farm to visit the home of a herd of goats, rabbits, small birds in the aviary, chickens and local field mice that keep the animal's company throughout the year.

Take a wander in the Wildlife garden centre; open during park hours and free. Or alternatively why not explore all the other green spaces North London has to offer. Pack a picnic to complete your day out in nature!

If you still have energy to burn, there's an array of sporting facilities, which includes a basketball and netball court, a long-jump landing pit and boasting the best 3-G pitches in central London. This is all available for young people to enjoy for free when visiting the park. There's a sports programme that runs in the park throughout the week during term-time and school holidays for a wide variety of ages and activities on offer.

Coram's Fields provides a nursery,  an under 5's drop-in, youth programmes and an out of school club, all reliable and safely allowing your kids to be entertained and have a great time. The experienced team also cooks on-site for the kids and use a range of technology to communicate with parents and guardians to ensure that the kids thrive in the learning environment.

Kidadl top tip: Coram's Field hosts fireworks annually in November, so be sure not to miss this amazing event; complete with fairground rides, merchandise stalls and, of course, spectacular fireworks.
