What to expect

If you are looking for the perfect live-streamed martial arts workout for you and your kids, you're in luck! Trained dancer May Au is teaching kids and adults Tai Chi Qigong with free weekly sessions on Facebook. Known as the 'gentle' martial art, Tai Chi is perfect for beginners and the perfect way to keep exercising without feeling breathless. Not only does this gentle martial art have brilliant stress-relieving qualities, it also addresses other key factors of good health, including muscle strength, flexibility, body awareness, mental health and aerobic conditioning.

With Studio Kowloon's weekly sessions you'll learn basic forms and steps. By the time your kids return to school, you'll be well on your way to becoming a pro in Tai Chi Qigong. Expect plenty of martial arts exercises to build strength and condition your body, including your lower and upper body and core muscles of the back and abdomen. Could this be the best martial art for fitness? Parents will love getting involved too - so if you're missing your martial arts training classes, join in with your kids. A perfect first martial art workout at home! If you want a slightly more intense family workout for older kids, why not try the Boostys Corona Buster sessions or attempt a HIIT workout instead?
