Reptiles aren’t considered to be the friendliest of creatures. However, they do make up for some interesting and fascinating features.

Here, we introduce you one such sea snake. Sea snake or coral reef snake, as the name suggests, is a snake that is found near aquatic regions. They are a part of Elapidae family and Squamata order.


They generally are harmless unless provoked. However, they are venomous and their bite can result in envenomation.

They generally feed on fish, eels and fish eggs. They have an average length of around 47-59 in (120-150 cm).
